Otello 8 Full Spectrum

The Otello 8 Full Spectrum is a fully motorized zoom Fresnel. It has 20-bit color mixing through 6 colors: red, green, blue, cyan, lime, and amber. Color temperature control from 27K to 65K and an average CRI of 95. The fixture boasts 16-bit dimming with 4 dim curves that can be selected digitally. The motorized zoom capabilities allow for a range from 14 to 84 degrees. Green-Magenta adjustment, flicker-free operation, and 4 different fan settings, (low, auto, studio and DMX control) round out the key features of this versatile lighting fixture.  Also available in Tungsten, Daylight and Variable White.

Otello 6 VariWhite

Available in Tungsten, Daylight or Full Spectrum, The Otello 6 VW will have a color temperature range of 2800K to 6500K with an average CRI of > 94.  The motorized zoom will allow beam control from 14 to 81 degrees. Thanks to HD electronics, the smooth 16-bit dimmer is processed at 20-bit. It will also have the same guaranteed flicker-free operation and fan settings, (low, auto, studio, DMX control) as the Otello 8.

ReLite LED HD

The ReLite LED HD is a replacement LED, designed to retrofit 1K and 2K traditional incandescent fixtures. It has an internal microprocessor and HD electronics that allow for customization. The ReLite comes in fixed white at either 3200K or 5600K with a CRI of 90. Smooth dimming from 10% to 100% using traditional triac AC or IGBT dimmers. You can utilize your existing incandescent fixtures and reduce power consumption by over 90% with almost no heat generated. And longer lamp life means no relamping issues. It is also flicker free for TV and Broadcast installations.

ReLite Kit

Designed to retrofit every old halogen fixture, the ReLite Kit is an LED source that can be controlled not only from traditional triac AC or IGBT dimmers but also by DMX. Comprised of an external power supply and LED source, the ReLite kit will have improved light output compared to the standard ReLite versions, will be available in tungsten, daylight or variable white, from 2700K to 6500K and a CRI of 90 to >95. The kit boasts smooth 16 bit dimming with no color shift when dimming and the same power savings and flicker-free operation as the original ReLite LED.

BB&S Lighting

BB&S Force 7 LED EngineBB&S Lighting of Denmark showcased it’s Force 7 this year at NAB. The new single source LED technology provides a CRI of 97 with an output that is equivalent to 750 watts. They are also accomplishing this while only drawing 180 watts from an externally mounted 48-volt power supply. The dimming is very smooth from 100%-0% with no hot spots or double shadows while using gobos or effects. The demo that was set up at NAB confirmed the manufacturer’s claims! The edge to edge light is very clean. The fan is also extremely quiet which makes it a great option for studio use.

The Force 7 is compatible with all ETC Source 4 barrels and lenses and is available in custom colors and comes with a Powercon True-1 AC Power Cable.

Coemar

This year Coemar debuted their new 6-color LEDko engine: Red, Green, Blue, White (5600K), Lime & Phosphor Corrected Amber. The goal in mind is an all-in-one fixture for Studio & Theatrical applications – a fixture capable of intensely saturated colors without sacrificing the punch of the whites. The purpose of the Lime and PC Amber is to help flesh out the Red, Green and Yellow spectrum as well as producing high CRI’s above 94 throughout the range of whites. Depending on the mode it’s used in, the new LEDko FS6 can be used as a color changing, variable white (2700K – 6500K) or an all-in-one fixture!

Also new to the product line are an LED Spot and Fresnel moving head. The LEDko TM FS6 uses the same 6-color engine as in the LEDko F6 in addition to the characteristics expected in an intelligent profile: Zoom (13-38 degrees), Internal Framing Shutters, Iris, Frost Filter, Pan & Tilt. The LEDko TM Fresnel is available in either Tunable Tungsten (2700K – 4100K) or Tunable Daylight (4100K – 6500K), both of which include RGBW LED chips, Green/Magenta manipulation, Proportional Zoom (13-65 degrees), Internal Barndoor Framing System, Pan & Tilt. These will begin shipping in Q1 2018.

Coemar had several products come out more suited to the architectural markets, including the Pixel LED, ParLite ACL and LEDko EXT II. The idea behind the Pixel Light is a RGBW IP65 rated fixture that can be quickly assembled through either magnetic or mechanical connection to form any kind of composition. Think legos with lights! The ParLite ACL is a very punchy parlite with a 3 degree narrow beam for uplighting from a distance. The LEDko EXT is a completely IP65 rated LED profile with 13-40 degree zoom, gobo holder and internal shutters, available in RGBW, Daylight or Tungsten.

Last but not least, Coemar came out with an economical solution for upgrading tungsten fresnels to LED while preserving your existing dimming system. Coemar’s 1K retrofit is available in Tungsten or Daylight with CRIs above 90 and flicker-free dimming from 100-10%. Though only available in a 1K engine with an optional G38 adapter for use in 2K, Coemar plans to introduce a 650w engine by the end of the year and a true 2K retrofit sometime in 2018.
