Canto USA

Canto USA was started with a specific goal of supplying the lighting community with good quality, nice looking, affordable products. LDI 2017 was a clear indication of this continued commitment. Their RETRO product line transforms existing inefficient incandescent fixtures into energy efficient LED fixtures. Patent-pending technology allows the fixture to smoothly dim from 0-100% utilizing existing dimming technology. Retrofit kits are available with a variety of options for both recessed and pendant style fixtures. Installation is as easy as changing a light bulb and their LED technology creates even fields and delivers consistent color.

Canto’s drive towards energy efficient LED solutions carries over into their powerful LED followspot line with both the ASTRA and ALBA series. These 200w LED modules are capable of producing a high CRI with well defined, a flat-field projection that is ideally suited for different size venues depending on which model FollowSpot you choose. Elektralite

Part of the Group One stand, Elekralite has some neat new things at LDI this year.

Stingray Profile–   Not new to Elektralite but worth a mentioning.  With a 300w COB LED and balanced 3200k color temperature it really packs a punch yet maintains a 95CRI.  Elektralite is using a proprietary diffraction lens system to really punch up the brightness.  Interchangeable 19°, 26°, 36°, or 50° lens tubes offer multiple beam spreads to find just the beam size you need.  It also comes with 4 shutters giving you clean cuts, and dual slots on the front of the fixture to use color and diffusion at the same time.  Power in and out is provided via PowerCON .  There is a simple to use onboard DMX interface with 5 pin DMX in and out.

Stingray 7-Color– The Stingray 7-color offers all of the same features as the Stingray Profile but has 7 colors and is liquid cooled for quite operation. Available lenses for this fixture are 5°, 10°, 25°, 36°, and 50°.   The both the Stingray and Stingray 7-Color use a B size gobo holder.  The same powerCon in and out with 4 shutters and gel frame are included.

The Stingray Mini will not begin shipping until sometime in December 2017.  It brings a nice clean warm white light to your smaller applications. With a 20w COB 3200k it provides the same rich white that the Stingray does, only smaller and not as bright.  It is using the same proprietary diffraction lens system to help this tiny fixture pack a punch.  Like it’s big brother the Stingray Mini ships with a 19° lens but they are interchangeable with 26°, 36°, or 50° lens tubes available.

SLA Retina– This new fixture was designed to be a “S”how “L”ighting “A”ccent. This fixture is also IP65 rated for outdoor use to go in planters and holiday displays or even rooftops. The 5” hexagon can fit in many small locations.   The cable for this fixture is IP68, we all know that cable can end up in a puddle. The cable is UV-stabilized to hold up in harsh sun of the coast, or the high altitude intensity.  The SLA Retina ships with two yoke arms, the height of each is adjustable for maximum flexibility.   This is a pretty darn bright fixture can be used for accent lighting in multiple applications.  Three 15w CREE RGBW LED’s deliver 1,400 lumens with a 25° beam spread.

Dazer Downlight – The Popular Elektralite Dazer is now available in an architectural form for more permanent installation applications.  It is available in 3400k and RGBA.  The body is also available in customer colors. There are 36- 5 watt LED’s available in beam spreads of 15°, 25°, 40°, and 60°.  These optics are factory installed to allow for quick installation in the field.  The fixture ships with a yoke to allow for easy adjustment for sloped ceilings, the yoke can be attaché to ¾” fan rod for installation, allowing for a place to run cables.  There is also a mount for a safety cable for a second point of safety.

Fresnel – Elektralite is coming out with an LED Fresnel. There is a 300w COB LED for 3200k or 5600k with a CRI of 94.  The 15°-50° zoom is manually operated, but the 100 step dimming through DMX is completely smooth.  Power in and out is provided by powerCon connectors and data by 5 pin XLR.  This fixture is so new there is not picture yet available to show you.
