Barco came to LDI with some big, bright new projectors.
BARCO’s XDL-4K75 projector is a 75,000 lumens, 4k, 3-chip DLP RGB laser large venue projector. It features REC 2020 colors, signal flexibility up to 120 Hz, and reduced installation time through zero alignment. It’s compatible with existing Barco XLD+ lenses and has an expected lifetime of 20,000 hours. At the show, they featured a custom PRG rig for the unit, allowing for different installation positions.
Barco’s UDX-4k32 projector is a 31,000 lumens, 4k UHD, 3-chip DLP laser phosphor large venue projector. The projector’s Constant Light Output (CLO) functionality also guarantees peace of mind by providing constant brightness and color over time. The unique FLEX² feature will allow you to tune and lock your brightness and resolution to a specific show. You’ll now need fewer projectors to cover a wider range of brightness levels and resolutions.
At the show, this projector was paired with Barco’s TLD+ lens 90 degree Ultra Short Throw. This lens is exclusively designed to be used on the Barco projector series UDX, HDX, and HDF. The lens output is 90° turned. This allows an optimal use of the vertical shift range when projecting to the left seen from the rear side of the projector. This lens is designed for ultra short throw video performance. Lens shift +/-150%, depending on projector type.
