MAGICPANEL-FX is an exciting new multi-function luminaire with a front face comprised of a 5×5 array of squared lenses designed to create 2D and 3D effects. A 15:1 optical zoom system with no visible external moving parts creates variable beam angles from 3.5° to 52°. These zoom optics are capable of projecting everything from tight shafts of light to a wide wash, and produce a solid beam of light that “squares off” as it separates into a stunning patchwork of colors. This flexible unit can be used for pixel mapping, as a powerful special effects projector, and as a wash light.
MAGICBURST Ayrton’s spinning 240,000 lumen strobe is the industry’s first high-power graphic LED strobe with continuous, unlimited rotation on both pan and tilt axes. The 15”x15” face supports 3,840 high-output white LEDs grouped into 64 pixels in an 8 x 8 matrix. The strobe duration, speed and intensity of each 60-LED pixel can be individually controlled to create brilliant and breathtaking stroboscopic effects and graphic arrays. A library of fixed images and pre-programmed dynamic effects are accessible from fixture memory. With a new, state-of-the-art ultra-compact, 1,300-watt power supply, MagicBurst delivers peak light output of over 240,000 lumens – perfectly calibrated at 5600K – for a duration of several seconds.
MAGICDOT-XT is a larger version of the award-winning MAGICDOT-R, which scales the beam diameter up and narrows it down. The fixture is equipped with Ayrton’s new, proprietary 5″ diameter optic that projects an impressive 2º beam with a center-beam intensity of 580,000 candelas.
MAGICDOT-SX is an optically evolved, multipurpose variant of the highly acclaimed MAGICDOT-R with the same form factor and dimensions, featuring ultra-fast beam movement and continuous unlimited rotation on pan and tilt. The fixture is equipped with a revolutionary new 8:1 optical zoom that has a fixed transmitting lens, no visible moving parts and a range of 5° to 40°. The panels make it possible for LynTec customers to add more circuits in the same horizontal wall space to control a greater number of components, as needed. Taking advantage of a change in the National Electrical Code, the RPC panels support 48, 66, and 84 circuit breaker positions. Previously, RPC panels were available only with 30 or 42 circuit breaker slots. Customers have incremental options between the 30- and 84-position panels with no increase in width. All RPC panels leverage the RPC controller’s ability to address up to 168 motorized circuit breakers. The new panels are also available as main lug only (MLO) and main circuit breaker (MCB) in 225, 400, and 600-amp interiors.
Also new to the RPC family of control panels is the capability to add dimming control. This new feature is being demonstrated for the first time at LDI 2016. LynTec has combined breaker/relay switching with 0-10VDC dimming in a single RPC panel for DMX512 or streaming ACN (E1.31, sACN). This now allows analog low-voltage dimming and power on/off switching for each controlled individual DMX or sACN channel and line voltage circuit. Up to 64 0-10VDC dimming positions can be combined in a breaker or relay panel. The new feature and hardware seamlessly work together through LynTec’s popular and easy-to-use built-in web server.
